Advantages of Being a member
Some of the advantages of being a member of the Hellenic Society include the following:
- Member discounts on renting the hall for functions;
- Member discounts on programs such as Greek School, Niata, or Adult Greek dance lessons;
- Member discounts on fitness programs offered at the hall;
- subscription to our monthly newsletter letting you know about Society events;
- receipt of Society financial statements;
- the ability to attend and vote at general meetings;
- the ability to run for election to the Board of Directors;
- and member discounts on advertising on our website
Council is working on creating more programs and opportunities for our members, but we require your support.
Membership Dues
For your information, the following membership rates are in effect for 2011 (January-December):
- Families: $200
- Singles: $150
- Seniors: $75
- Single Young Adults (18-25): $75
Memberships can be paid at the Society office, Tuesday -Friday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Arrangements can also be made by contacting Donnell at admin@calgaryhellenic.com.
